Shalom Hair Braiding ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information on www.shalombraiding.com and when you book with us.
Information you give us
When you send a booking request, we receive your name, phone number, the service you would like, braid size and length, your preferred date and time, and any notes you add. When you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and what you send.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, schedule and confirm appointments, prepare for your service and keep simple records of our appointments. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing messages without your permission.
How your booking request reaches us
Booking requests from our website are delivered to our email inbox by a form service called FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). On a phone, the form may instead open a text message to us that you can review before sending.
Our chat assistant
The chat assistant on this site answers common questions using information built into the page. What you type in the chat is not sent to us or stored.
Services we rely on
This website is hosted by Wix. Our pages also use Google Fonts for lettering and show a Google Map of our location. These companies may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visited, and may use cookies, under their own privacy policies. Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider and the embedded services above may use cookies or similar technology to run and secure the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
We collect information about children only from a parent or guardian booking on their behalf.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep booking information only as long as we need it for your appointments and our records. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we have about you.
