Our story
Daniella learned to braid as a girl in Burkina Faso, in West Africa, sitting beside the women in her family as they braided for neighbors, weddings and holidays. Braiding was never just a style there. It was time together, patience and pride in doing something beautiful with your hands.
She brought that craft to Texas and opened Shalom Hair Braiding in Killeen to give women and children in Central Texas a place to get neat, lasting braids from someone who truly knows the work.
Shalom means peace. That is what we want you to feel in the chair: unhurried, listened to, and confident when you leave.
